'I Can Be Yours' is a self-published artist’s monograph of Keef Winter's sculpture, installation and performance work. The book consists of photographs punctuated by texts invited from a diverse group of contributors. It flows between images of gallery exhibitions, urban interventions and studio works.

The launch is at X Marks the Bökship on the 26th July 2013 from 6-9pm. The location is 210 Cambridge Heath Road, E2 9NQ, London. Keef will be there making whiskey sours from his 'pulpit bar' while Douglas Park, Anna Chrystal Stephens and Hannah Newell read their texts from the pulpit. Annabelle Stapleton-Crittenden will make a performative response to the publication.

BOOK LAUNCH

X Marks the Bökship,  London

The launch is at X Marks the Bökship on the 26th July 2013 6-9pm. 
Keef will be making whiskey sours from within a new work 'pulpit bar'. 
Douglas Park, Anna Chrystal Stephens and Hannah Newell will read their contributing texts from the publication on the pulpit. Also on the night, Annabelle Stapleton-Crittenden will make a live response to Winter's work.

Keef Winter (born 1980, Newtownards) lives and works in London. He studied Art and Architecture within the experimental pedagogical group Future Academy, Edinburgh College of Art and Rhode Island School of Design. He has written a PhD at The University of Ulster based around his idea of a 'Handyman Aesthetic'. He founded and co-directs Bruno Glint Gallery in Hackney curating exhibitions and events. He was awarded an Arts Council ACES award in 2011. Recent solo exhibitions include ‘By now each of us is several’, Bruno Glint Gallery, London; 'I'm Squatting In Your Condo', 3331 Arts Chiyoda, Tokyo; 'Hide Those Dirty Hands', The Joinery, Dublin; 'Scopophobia', Golden Thread Gallery, Belfast. Recent group exhibitions include ‘Housing a Pig’, Flood Gallery, Dublin; 'Arcade Park', Brooklyn Fireproof, New York; 'Speed Towerz', Bahrain Fort Museum. Winter has exhibited at Scope Art Fair, New York and London Art Fair.
